William's Mobile RV Repair

William's Mobile RV Repair is a mobile RV tech based in Rockport, TX. It comes to you, and it puts it this way: "We come to your rig." The work happens on-site at campgrounds and roadside locations. Its listed service area covers 11 areas, from Rockport and Fulton to Lamar, Ingleside, Port Aransas and Mustang Island.

It works on air conditioning, plumbing, appliances, furnaces, water heaters, water pumps, electrical and the roof overhead, plus routine maintenance. It covers motorhomes, campers, travel trailers and truck campers. For air conditioning, rooftop coolers get "diagnosed and repaired on the spot," so you do not have to haul the rig to a shop first. It brings "25 years of RV repair experience" to the campsite.

It publishes no trip fee, no hourly rate and no prices for jobs. Ask about the trip fee and the rate before the tech heads out, since a trip fee generally covers the drive to your site. Its hours are 7 AM to 9 PM, seven days a week, and it lists no after-hours or emergency service. The main number is (361) 309-0918. It also gives (940) 360-4770 for calls with your location.

It names no certifications, licensing, insurance, warranty, owner or technician. Ask what training the tech has and what the work is guaranteed for. Google rates it 4.6 stars from 10 reviews. A tech who comes to the campground can save a tow and a week at a shop, which matters most when the rig cannot be moved safely.

This is a good fit for an RV owner around Rockport, Fulton or Port Aransas whose rig is parked at a campground and cannot easily be moved, or for a traveler on the Texas coast with an air conditioner or water pump that has quit.
