RV Service List is a directory of mobile RV technicians and repair shops. You do not need an account to use it, and we never ask you to make one. Everything below is the whole of what we collect.

Counting visits

We use Google Analytics to count page views and see which pages people find useful. It sets one analytics cookie in your browser, and the only thing that cookie does is let us tell a returning visitor from a new one. We do not use it for advertising, we do not sell what it collects, and we make no attempt to work out who you are.

What we look at is which pages get used and which towns people are searching in, because that tells us where to add more technicians next.

Counting calls and clicks

When you tap a phone number or a website link on a listing, we record that the click happened. This is the whole point of the site: a technician who gets work from here should be able to see it, and we would rather show them a real number than ask them to take our word for it.

What gets stored with a click is the listing, the page you clicked from, the country your connection reports, your browser's own description of itself, and the time. What does not get stored is your name, your phone number, your IP address, or anything you typed. We never hear your call. We do not know who you are, and the record is no use for working it out.

Turning click counting off

You can switch it off for your browser at /no-count/. The setting lives in your own browser, so nothing about you is stored on our side to make it work, and each device you use needs it set once.

Some clicks are never counted at all: search engine and AI crawlers, browser link pre-loading, and anything clicked from the internal dashboard.

Business listings

A listing shows information the business has published itself or given us directly: name, phone, service area, hours, and rates. We do not publish email addresses. If you run a listed business and want something corrected, added, or taken down, email [email protected] and we will handle it. You do not have to pay to be listed and you do not have to pay to be removed.

When a business updates its own listing

A business can be sent a link that lets it confirm or correct its own details. That link is signed so it only works for that one listing, and what comes back is used to update the listing and nothing else.

Who else sees any of this

Google Analytics receives the page views described above. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, serves the pages and keeps standard server logs. Nobody else receives anything, and none of it is sold or handed to advertisers.

Changes

If what we collect changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top moves. Any question about your own data goes to [email protected].
