Ridgeback RV Services, LLC

Ridgeback RV Services, LLC is a mobile RV service based in Douglas County, Nevada. It comes to you, servicing your RV at your home, a campground, or an RV storage facility, rather than having you haul the rig to a shop.

It works on air conditioners, water heaters, refrigerators, furnaces, and roofs, with a focus on RV-specific appliances and systems. It serves Gardnerville, Minden, Carson City, Zephyr Cove, South Lake Tahoe, and the Highway 395 corridor south of Gardnerville.

No hourly rate or trip fee is published, so ask about both when you call. Its hours are Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. It also offers an education visit, a minimum of one hour spent walking you through how your RV's systems work, which can save you from the costly mistakes that come from never getting a proper walkthrough at purchase.

Ridgeback is operated by John Vanek, a Certified RV Tech and a Dometic Advanced Training graduate, with John and Dawn Vanek bringing "over a decade of RV experience" to the business. John is a member of the RVTAA and is licensed by the State of Nevada Board for the Regulation of Liquified Petroleum Gas to install or repair LP-Gas systems on RVs, which matters if your furnace or water heater runs on propane. The business is insured and backs its jobs with a 90-day workmanship warranty. Google rates it 5 stars from 111 reviews.

This is a good fit for an owner around Gardnerville, Minden, Carson City, or South Lake Tahoe who wants appliance or roof work done at their own driveway or campsite, or a traveler on the 395 corridor dealing with a dead fridge or AC who would rather not tow the rig to a shop.
