Monroe's Mobile Detailing

Monroe's Mobile Detailing is a mobile detailing business, so it comes to you rather than the other way around. It says, "We're 100% mobile and come to you at your convenience." It names South Lake Tahoe, Gardnerville, Minden, Carson City and Dayton, plus surrounding areas, but gives no radius or base address.

It details cars, RVs and boats, and the work is cleaning, polishing and waxing, including water spot removal. Its showcase job is a powerboat. No RV types or RV prices are named, and this is not mechanical repair, so a slide-out, roof or AC problem belongs with a repair shop.

The van carries its own gear. In the business's words, "Our fully-equipped van carries everything needed, from power sources to professional cleaning solutions." It uses DI water, which is deionized water, so the surface dries without the mineral spots that tap water leaves behind. On a large painted side, that is work you do not have to undo later.

No trip fee or RV price is published. Before you book, ask about the trip fee and the RV price, and ask whether the van can work at a campground or storage lot, since the business does not say. Hours are by appointment Tuesday through Saturday, closed Monday and Sunday. The phone number is 775-781-5930. Google rates it 4.9 stars from 29 reviews. It does not state that it is licensed or insured, so ask.

This is a good fit for an RV owner in the Carson Valley or around Tahoe who wants a wash and finish at the driveway or lot and will ask for the trip fee and RV price first.
