RIG RITE

Rig Rite is a mobile RV tech based in Shipshewana, Indiana. It comes to you, whether your RV sits at a campground, a storage facility or your own driveway, so you never have to tow it somewhere and wait.

It handles general RV repairs, diagnostics, maintenance, electrical, appliances, plumbing, HVAC, roof service and inspections for RVs, campers and trailers. It also offers specialized structural repair for frame, slide-out, wall, floor and roof issues, and says this structural work is available nationwide, wherever the RV happens to be. For everyday repair calls, it serves a 60-mile radius around Shipshewana, reaching Goshen, Elkhart, South Bend, Mishawaka, LaGrange, Middlebury, Warsaw, Fort Wayne and the towns between.

Rig Rite has not published an hourly rate, a trip fee or a diagnostic fee, so ask about all three when you call, along with whether the job in front of you falls under the local radius or the nationwide structural service. It says, in its own words, "You'll know what's wrong, what it takes to fix it, and what it costs before the work begins," which is the kind of answer worth pinning down on the phone before a tech drives out.

Google rates Rig Rite 5 stars from 14 reviews.

This is a good fit for a traveler whose RV has a structural problem, a cracked wall, a sagging floor or a slide-out that will not move, wherever the rig happens to be parked, and for an owner within the Shipshewana area who wants routine repair or an inspection done on-site instead of hauling the rig to a shop.
