JJ RV & Horse Trailer Repair LLC

JJ RV & Horse Trailer Repair LLC is an RV and horse trailer repair shop based in Elkhart, Indiana. You can bring the RV to its shop, and it also offers mobile service for larger projects that cannot be brought in, so a trailer too torn up to tow safely does not have to be.

It works on motorhomes, travel trailers and fifth wheels, covering plumbing and water systems, electrical and HVAC repair, slide-out mechanisms, 12V and 110V electrical, and solar panel installation. It handles structural and frame repairs, axle and brake service, and full interior conversions and renovations as well, so it can take on a job that mixes mechanical work with a custom rebuild. It serves the Michiana area on both sides of the state line, naming Elkhart, Goshen, South Bend, Mishawaka, Niles, Granger, Bristol and Middlebury among the towns it covers.

No hourly rate, trip fee or diagnostic fee is published, so ask about those when you call. What is published is free estimates, for any RV or horse trailer repair or conversion project within its service area, which means you can get a number before committing to the work. Hours run Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, with Saturday by appointment.

The shop is run by Jerry, named in a review describing a horse trailer living-quarters conversion done with regular photo updates for an owner three hours away. Google rates the business 4.7 stars from 22 reviews.

This is a good fit for an owner in the Michiana area needing anything from a slide-out or electrical repair to a full interior conversion, and who wants a free estimate before deciding whether to bring the rig in or ask about mobile service.
