Toy Tech Services is a mobile RV repair service based in Elkhart, Indiana. It comes to you, whether that is a driveway, a campsite or a storage lot. It covers Northern Indiana and Southwest Michigan from Elkhart: Goshen, South Bend, Mishawaka and Middlebury on the Indiana side, and Niles, Edwardsburg, Cassopolis, Dowagiac, Three Rivers and Sturgis in Michigan. Places farther out are checked for availability before a visit is booked.

It works on RV air conditioning, electrical systems, roofs and leaks, slide-outs and leveling, winterization, plumbing and water systems, and appliances, on motorhomes, travel trailers, fifth wheels and toy haulers. Having the work done where the rig sits matters with a slide-out that will not come in, because a rig in that state is hard to move safely. A tech who comes to the campground saves you the tow and the wait at a shop.

The trip fee is $135, which the business calls a service call and says covers "dispatch and travel." It is not credited toward labor, parts or repairs. Labor is $145/hr, parts are billed separately, and a tech quotes proposed work before any repair starts. If a repair needs parts, the return trip is $67.50, a rate the owner confirmed in October 2026. There is no deposit, card hold or arrival charge, and you receive one itemized final invoice to pay through Stripe. The office is open Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM ET, bookings are taken 24/7, and most requests get a same-day callback.

A request is not a confirmed appointment. Scheduling is confirmed only after a tech accepts, so ask how soon that usually happens before you plan around it. It does not name its technicians, state a warranty, give years in business, or say whether it is licensed and insured, so ask about those when you call. A $24.99 flat, one-time call of up to 10 minutes with a tech can tell you whether you need a visit at all.

Pre-purchase inspections come in three levels, priced by the type of RV, from a travel trailer to a diesel Class A: Basic at $499 to $899 (about 1 to 2 hours), Standard at $599 to $999 (2 to 3 hours), and the most thorough level at $749 to $1,199 (4 to 5 hours), which adds the generator, leveling and slides. A trip fee may apply more than 22 miles outside the service area, the final price is confirmed before any payment, and the photo report arrives within 24 to 48 hours. Used rigs often hide problems that show up only after the sale, so this is the time to find them.
