Madison Mobile Solar

Madison Mobile Solar is a mobile RV tech and shop based in Madison, Wisconsin. It comes to you, and you can also bring the RV to its shop at 151 E Badger Road, Suite C, on the Madison/Fitchburg line, which it says lets it work year-round in Wisconsin weather.

It works on solar power and lithium battery systems for trailers, vans and skoolies, from full system design and installation to troubleshooting and repair on an underperforming system. It also supports owners doing their own build, offering advice, components and help with programming and key tools. It supplies and installs Victron, Epoch and Rich Solar products as a Certified Victron Installer, Epoch Battery Dealer and Rich Solar Dealer.

No pricing, trip fee or hours are published, so ask about these when you call or text (330) 623-6627 for an appointment.

Owner Jon Keevil started Madison Mobile Solar in 2023 after building his own mobile energy systems, including a 28 foot skoolie and a 1973 Airstream Argosy, each with a custom lithium battery, solar array and inverter setup. He holds ABYC Certified Marine Electrical Advisor certification, achieved in 2023, a standard built for boat electrical systems that in many cases goes beyond what RVs require, and became a Victron Certified Installer in 2024.

This is a good fit for an owner who wants a solar or lithium battery system built right the first time, or a DIY builder who needs an expert to handle the programming and wiring details.
