RV Ready Mobile Service

RV Ready Mobile Service is a mobile RV repair and inspection business based in Sevierville, Tennessee, run by Kelly and Zach. It comes to you. The work happens at your campsite, driveway or storage lot in Pigeon Forge, Sevierville, Gatlinburg, Townsend and "surrounding areas." No radius is stated, so ask whether your spot falls inside it.

It works on refrigerators, air conditioners, water heaters, furnaces, leveling systems and components, electrical, plumbing, the propane system, winterizing, de-winterizing, roof sealing, tank cleaning, exterior detailing and upgrades. It services Class A, Class B, Class C, Class Super C and other motorized RVs, 5th wheels, travel trailers and pop up trailers. It also does pre-purchase and pre-sale inspections, with "50 to 265+ points of inspection" depending on the unit and the level you choose. Water intrusion is one of the things it checks, which matters on a used rig because leaks often hide behind walls until they have done real damage.

No trip fee or hourly rate is published, so ask about both when you call. Hours are Monday through Saturday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Sunday by appointment. "Emergency calls are available outside of these hours. Additional charges may apply." Google rates it 5 stars from 70 reviews.

Its inspection reports "comply with the NRVIA Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics." Those standards set out what an inspection covers, so ask for a sample report before you book. No certifications are listed by name, so ask what training the inspector holds. It also offers owner education for people brand new to RVing or with a new-to-you RV, covering upgrades in appliances or systems.

This is a good fit for an RV owner in Sevierville, Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg or Townsend who wants the work done where the rig sits, or a buyer in those towns who wants an inspection before signing papers. A traveler with a dead air conditioner or furnace at a nearby campground may fit too, once the trip fee is clear.
