Ricky's RV Repair

Ricky's RV Repair is an RV repair shop based in Sevierville, Tennessee, and it works both ways: bring the RV to its service center on Veterans Blvd, or let one of its three mobile repair trucks come to you, within about 20 miles of its location.

It works on refrigerators, water heaters, furnaces, air conditioners, ovens and ranges, awnings, slide-outs, leveling and jack systems, roofs (rubber and other), LP gas systems, 12 volt and 120 volt electrical, power converters and inverters, septic and plumbing, and water damage repairs, on towable RVs. Some jobs, including axle bearing pack and brake service and generator oil changes, are shop only. Its mobile trucks carry a wide stock of parts and handle most of the same list on site at a campground, storage lot or driveway, which matters when a slide-out or leveling system failure means the rig cannot be moved.

No hourly rate or trip fee is published. Ricky's RV Repair calls its rates "very reasonable" and asks that you call for details, so ask about the trip fee and hourly rate when you call. Parts and labor are due at time of service. The shop keeps regular hours Monday through Friday 8 to 5 and Saturday 8 to noon, but mobile service runs beyond store hours, so a breakdown at night or on a Sunday is not automatically a lost weekend.

Technicians are RVDA/RVIA and Master Certified, and the business works with extended warranty companies and insurance on repairs. Google rates it 4.6 stars from 480 reviews. Founded in 2006, it has been doing both shop and mobile work since.

This is a good fit for an owner near Sevierville and the Smoky Mountains area who wants either a shop with three bays and parts on hand, or a truck that comes to the campground when the rig cannot be driven in.
