1ST CHOICE RV

1st Choice RV is a mobile RV repair business based in Charleston, South Carolina, with a second number listed for Myrtle Beach. It comes to you, whether that is a home driveway or a storage yard, so you do not have to move a rig that may not be safe to drive.

It works on motorhomes, travel trailers and campers, and handles maintenance, installation and repairs. Jobs mentioned by its own reviewers include a clogged sink, a furnace diagnosis, an AC repair under warranty, and a tire swap, and the business states it provides manufacturer and warranty services, which matters if your AC or appliance is still covered and you want someone who will deal with the manufacturer directly. It serves Charleston, Myrtle Beach, James Island, Surfside, North Charleston, Summerville, Georgetown, West Ashley, Cross, Ravenel and Hollywood.

There is no trip fee, hourly rate or diagnostic fee published, so ask about those when you call, along with whether it can reach your specific location. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm.

Two techs, Steve and Brian, are named repeatedly in reviews for showing up quickly, explaining the problem, and in one case telling an owner how to buy the part himself instead of paying for a house call, which saved him time and money. Google rates the business 4.5 stars from 90 reviews.

This is a good fit for an owner in the Charleston or Myrtle Beach area who wants a tech to come to the storage yard or driveway during the week, especially for warranty work or an appliance problem that is hard to diagnose over the phone.
