Affordable RV Service

Affordable RV Service is a mobile RV tech based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. It comes to you, running two mobile units to cover Albuquerque and the surrounding areas, so a rig does not need to be moved for most repairs.

It works on major RV appliances, 12v and 110v electrical systems, plumbing, heating and air conditioning, and installs and troubleshoots Winegard satellite systems. It also handles purchase inspections, checking and testing all major systems and appliances before you buy a used rig, and winterization for all makes and models. The crew stocks several common repair parts in each service vehicle and in the office, which can mean a fix on the first visit instead of a wait on a part.

There is no published trip fee or hourly rate, so ask about both when you call, along with whether it can reach your campground, storage lot or driveway. Affordable RV Service says, "We honor all extended warranty contracts," which matters if your rig is still under a warranty plan and you want the repair to count toward it.

The business is owned by Gene Barr, who brings "40 years of experience in RV repair" to the work. It describes itself as "a family owned and operated Christian business." No RV types or brands worked on are listed beyond Winegard satellite systems, so ask when you call if your rig is a less common make.

This is a good fit for an owner in or around Albuquerque who wants a tech to come to the campsite or driveway for appliance, electrical, plumbing or AC and heating trouble, or who needs a pre-purchase inspection or winterizing done on site.
