Tally Ho Services, LLC Mobile RV Repairs

Tally Ho Services, LLC Mobile RV Repairs is a mobile RV tech operation run by Don and Claire Gray, based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. They come to you, and say they are "Servicing Albuquerque and surrounding areas."

They work on winterizing and dewinterizing, plumbing, electrical, air conditioners, furnaces, water heaters, solar and inverter and battery systems, leveling systems and slide-outs. One traveler called them in after a slide cable frayed while setting up in Amarillo, and Don and Claire drove out the next day and had a new cable installed in a couple of hours, which shows the Albuquerque base does not mean they stay put.

There is no trip fee, hourly rate or diagnostic fee published, so ask about the trip fee when you call and confirm it comes to your site before you book.

What stands out is how fast they move and how far they go on a diagnosis. One traveler whose dealership could not pin down an elusive furnace problem said Don "spent several hours diagnosing the issue with me to try to pinpoint the problem" and got scheduled for the next morning, which the traveler called "unheard of with large repair facilities." Another had a rig untouched for four months after a hospital stay, with busted water lines and a furnace rapid cycling in 20 degree weather, and had everything fixed in under three hours.

Google rates them 4.9 stars from 189 reviews.

This is a good fit for an owner in or passing through Albuquerque who wants a tech willing to dig into a problem a dealership gave up on, or a traveler stuck with a slide-out or furnace issue far from home.
