Great Basin Mobile RV Repair

Great Basin Mobile RV Repair is a mobile RV tech based in Sparks, Nevada. It makes house calls, coming to a campground, storage facility or your own driveway anywhere in Northern Nevada, so you never have to tow the rig to a shop.

It works on RV air conditioning, water heating, awnings, slide-outs, air and cabin filters, appliances, battery systems, body and trim, electrical, plumbing, water tanks, roofing, venting, jacks and hydraulics, windows, doors and cabinetry, and winterizing or de-winterizing. It also services Aqua Hot hydronic heating and water systems and ONAN 4000-5500 generators, and names its service area as Reno, Sparks, Carson City, Spanish Springs, Sun Valley, Hidden Valley, Incline Village, Washoe City, Indian Hill and Lake Tahoe. It notes plainly that it does not do RV engine repair, so ask first if your issue is chassis or engine related.

No trip fee, hourly rate or diagnostic fee is published, so ask about those when you call. Regular hours run Monday through Friday, 7am to 6pm, with emergency and weekend appointments available for an added charge, useful if a slide-out jams or the AC dies on a Saturday at the lake.

The business describes itself as "family-owned and operated" and states it is "Licensed, Bonded and Insured," worth confirming for any mobile tech working on your property. Google rates it 4.5 stars from 36 reviews.

This is a good fit for an owner in the Reno-Sparks-Carson City corridor who wants a tech to show up at the storage lot or campsite rather than arrange a tow, especially for roof, slide-out or Aqua Hot trouble.
