Compass RV Service & Repair

Compass RV Service & Repair is a mobile RV tech based in Carson City, Nevada. It comes to you, at the campsite, the driveway or the storage lot, serving Reno, Carson City, Sparks, Fernley, Fallon, Dayton, Silver Springs, Lovelock, Gardnerville, Minden, Yerington and Hawthorne.

It works on plumbing, electrical systems, water heaters, batteries and roof inspections, along with general maintenance, winterization, water pump replacement and washing and detailing. The roof inspections cover sealant refresh and vent checks, work worth doing before a small leak becomes a soaked subfloor. Winterization includes blowing out the lines to protect the plumbing system through Nevada's cold months.

No trip fee, hourly rate or diagnostic fee is published, so ask about the trip fee when you call. David, who founded the business, describes its approach as "Honest diagnostics before any repair begins" and "Clear, upfront pricing, no hidden fees." Calls are answered any time, with a response usually the same day.

No certifications, RV brands, or licensing and insurance statements are listed on the page, so ask about those too if they matter to you. One reviewer who brought in a 2023 KZ Connect travel trailer for a water heater, propane line and inverter repair noted the inverter was tested under load before the keys came back, the kind of check worth asking for after any electrical repair.

Google rates it 5 stars from 2 reviews.

This is a good fit for a traveler stuck somewhere between Reno and Fallon with a plumbing or electrical problem, or an owner in the Carson City area who wants winterization or a roof inspection done without hauling the rig anywhere.
