Sunrise RV Solar and Repair

Sunrise RV Solar and Repair is a mobile RV repair and solar installation business based in North Platte, Nebraska. It comes to you, so the rig stays where it is parked. The owner, Todd, is a Navy veteran, and the business calls itself a "veteran-owned business." It names North Platte as its base and says it serves "the surrounding areas" without naming towns or a radius, so ask how far it will drive before you book.

The repair work covers appliance repairs, minor roof fixes, and electrical and plumbing work. The solar work covers lithium batteries, inverters, charge controllers, and battery monitoring, and the brand it names is Victron Energy. It says it brings "the tools, parts, and expertise" to your doorstep, a campsite, or wherever the rig is parked. A tech who comes to a parked rig saves a tow and a shop wait, which matters most when a rig cannot be moved safely.

It does not publish a trip fee, an hourly rate, or its hours. Ask about the trip fee and the hourly rate when you call, and ask for a number in writing before the tech arrives. It describes its pricing as "affordable, transparent pricing," which is worth testing with a written quote. The owner holds the Level 2 RV Technician certification through the National RV Training Institute (RVTI), and he has taken solar courses through Solar Energy International (SEI). It does not state a warranty, licensing, or insurance, so ask about those too.

Google rates it 5 stars from 7 reviews. This is a good fit for an RV owner in or near North Platte who wants a solar system with lithium batteries and battery monitoring, or a traveler parked nearby with an appliance, roof, or electrical problem who wants the work done where the rig sits.
