Recon Techs Western Nebraska

Recon Techs Western Nebraska is a vehicle detailing and reconditioning shop based at 2210 W Front Street in North Platte, Nebraska. It works out of a fixed facility and does not publish whether it comes to a campground or driveway, so ask before you plan around a visit. Its website also names McCook in places, so confirm which location you would use. Its phone is 308-532-1413.

For RVs it lists exterior detailing, oxidation removal, paint and gel coat revitalization, high performance paint coatings, and wheel and rim polishing. Oxidation is the chalky fade that builds on painted and gel coat exteriors in the sun. Removing it before a coating goes on keeps the damage from being sealed under the finish. Its auto page puts it this way: "You do not want to seal in the contaminants."

It publishes no RV prices and no trip fee, so when you call, ask for a price on your job and ask about the trip fee. It is open Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, and closed on weekends. It does not mention after-hours service for RVs.

Recon Techs says it is "fully licensed and insured" and that "All our technicians have been professionally trained and certified." Licensed and insured matters when a shop keeps your rig for a day or more. Jerry and Serena Yoshida, with sons D.J. and Drew, run the business. Google rates it 4.7 stars from 29 reviews and lists it under car detailing service.

This is a good fit for an RV owner near North Platte or McCook who wants exterior detailing, oxidation removal or gel coat revitalization at a shop, and who can plan the visit during weekday hours.
