Rocky Mountain Repair LLC

Rocky Mountain Repair LLC is a mobile RV repair business based in Kalispell, Montana. It describes itself as "Specializing In Mobile Repair," so the tech comes to you at a campground, storage lot or driveway. It lists no shop you can bring the rig to.

It works on furnaces, refrigerators, water heaters, awnings, steps, 12 volt and 120 volt electrical, roof reseals, winterizing and summerizing, slide-outs, toilets, AC units and extended warranties. It names Dometic, Norcold, Splendide and Suburban. It says it "Serves the Valley," meaning the Flathead Valley around Kalispell, and gives no radius. It names no RV types, so ask whether it works on your rig. A rig with a dead slide-out often cannot be driven to a shop, so a tech who comes to you can save a tow.

It publishes no prices, no hourly rate and no trip fee, so ask about the trip fee before you agree to anything. The trip fee is what covers the drive out to you. Its listed hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., under "Summer Hours." It names no after-hours or emergency service. It lists extended warranties among its services with no terms given, so ask what they cover.

Its page names "Certifications/ Authorized Service Center." An authorized service center is usually approved by a manufacturer to do its warranty work, so ask which of the four brands that approval covers. Brent Keller started the business with his wife in the spring of 2003 "with some tools and a few parts," and says he has attended "several factory training schools." Google shows a 4 star rating from 56 reviews. No license or insurance statement appears, so ask for both before work starts.

This is a good fit for an owner around Kalispell and the Flathead Valley who wants a tech to come to a driveway, storage lot or campground for appliance, electrical, awning or slide-out work, or a roof reseal before storage, and who wants the trip fee settled before the truck arrives.
