North Star RV Roof

North Star RV Roof LLC is a roof business based in Kalispell, Montana, at 1015 Roosevelt Trl, Unit 2. The business is "your local FlexArmor Authorized Applicator," and its work is sprayed RV roofs. Its address also appears as 1029 Roosevelt Trail, so confirm it before you drive over. It does not say whether it comes to your campsite or driveway, so ask.

FlexArmor is a sprayed polyurea roof built on the idea that "if you remove the caulking joints found on an RV roof, you remove the potential for leaks." It is 188 mils (3/16 inch) thick, against 30-60 mils for EPDM rubber, TPO and fiberglass. The work is done indoors, since "FlexArmor roofs are completed indoors in well established locations."

It publishes no trip fee, hourly rate or roof price, so ask about the trip fee and a quote for your rig at (406)858-3090. It is open Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm, and closed Saturday and Sunday. No emergency or weekend service is listed.

The warranty is "A lifetime, fully transferable, written, NO Leak Guarantee." Transferable means it can pass to the next owner, which matters if you sell the rig. The guarantee is "not tied to one location," and if the original shop stops doing FlexArmor, "you can go anywhere." Ask for the written terms. No owner or technician is named, no years in business are given, and no license or insurance is stated. Google rates it 4.9 from 79 reviews as an RV repair shop.

This is a good fit for an RV owner done with recaulking who wants one roof under a written, transferable guarantee, and who will ask about the trip fee before booking. It is a poor fit for a traveler who needs a leak fixed this weekend.
