Dave's Truck Repair Inc.

Dave's Truck Repair Inc. is a truck repair shop based in Springfield, Massachusetts, and it also sends technicians out on the road. You can bring your rig to its Cottage Street location, or its crews will come to you, as they put it, "when and where you need us, 24 hours a day, seven days a week."

It works on motor homes and trailers alongside its heavy and light duty truck business, covering generator maintenance, DOT inspection and repair, mechanical and electrical repairs, computer diagnostics, brakes, suspensions, transmissions, differentials, exhaust and fuel system work, and welding and fabrication. It is an authorized Workhorse Service Dealer, so it can perform warranty work and supply parts for motor homes on a Workhorse chassis, which matters if your rig is one of the many built on that chassis and needs factory-backed warranty repairs rather than a shop guessing at coverage.

No trip fee, diagnostic fee or hourly rate is published, so ask about those when you call. Shop hours are 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, but it also runs 24/7 emergency road service, and after hours it tells callers to phone rather than email since the email is not monitored. It has been at this since 1987, has ASE Certified Master Technicians on staff, and is a Massachusetts authorized repair facility licensed for gas and diesel, foreign and domestic.

Google rates it 3.5 stars from 312 reviews.

This is a good fit for an owner near Springfield with a Workhorse chassis motor home, or a traveler stranded on the road who needs a crew that will come to the breakdown rather than wait for a tow.
