Cranberry Auto Service Center

Cranberry Auto Service Center is an auto repair shop based in Westminster, Maryland, at 404 Lucabaugh Mill Road. Its main trade is cars and trucks, and it also does RV repair at that shop, so you bring the RV to it. When you call (443) 201-7572, ask whether it will come to a campground, storage lot or driveway.

Its RV work is described as water leaks and electrical problems. On leaks, it says to "act quickly," since leaks can harm major electrical parts. Its ASE Certified technicians, it says, can "fix whatever may be troubling your RV." ASE is an automotive credential, so ask whether anyone on the job has RV training. Ask about slide-outs, refrigerators, air conditioners or generators before you drive over.

No RV labor rate, RV price list or trip fee is published, so ask for a quote and any diagnostic fee before you leave the rig. Its published hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, so ask whether an RV can be booked outside them. It also does Maryland state safety inspections on RVs and says it can "usually get you in within a day or two."

Its warranty "Covers parts and labor on qualifying repairs and services for 36 months/36,000 miles." It is a NAPA AutoCare Center, and the warranty is "Honored nationwide by thousands of NAPA AutoCare Centers, so you're protected even when you travel." Ask what counts as a qualifying repair and for its licensing and insurance details before you book.

This is a good fit for an owner who can get the rig to Westminster and wants a warranty on a leak or wiring repair, or a Maryland inspection. It is a poor fit for a traveler stuck at a campground, since the work happens at the shop.
