Living The Dream Rv Repair

Living The Dream Rv Repair is a mobile RV repair business based in the Ponchatoula/Hammond area of Louisiana. It comes to you. Its site says "We'll come to you and get you back to 'Living the Dream.'" Michael is the master technician, and his wife Nikki handles scheduling and quotes.

It works on Class A, Class B, Class C, fifth wheel and travel trailer RVs, and it names Aqua Hot as a brand it services. Its list covers air conditioning, RV refrigerators, water heaters, furnaces, converters, inverters, electrical work, slide-out repair, awnings, roof inspection, repair, reseal and replacement, grey and black tanks, batteries, brakes, jacks, winterization and dewinterization, and pre-purchase inspections. A pre-purchase inspection on a used rig shows problems before you pay for them. A tech who comes to a campground or storage lot also saves a tow when a slide-out will not move.

Its trip fee, which the page calls a "road fee," is a minimum of $75.00 within a 30 mile radius. At 50 miles or more, the minimum is $150. Labor is $150 per hour with a one-hour minimum. Parts and freight must be paid in advance. Quotes for parts and repair come after the tech diagnoses the problem. If parts are needed, a second visit is made and the second road fee is waived. The page publishes no diagnostic fee, hours or emergency service, so ask about those along with the trip fee when you call.

The site offers help with insurance claims and describes its work as "top-quality parts and master technician service." It names no certifications, warranty or years in business, so ask about those too.

Google rates it 5 stars from 9 reviews.

This is a good fit for an owner around Ponchatoula and Hammond who wants a quote after a diagnosis and can pay for parts up front, or a traveler stuck at a campground in that area with a slide-out or air conditioning problem.
