Family First Mobile RV, LLC

Family First Mobile RV, LLC is a mobile RV repair service based in Des Moines, Iowa. It comes to you, traveling to your home, campsite or storage lot, so you never have to haul the rig anywhere.

It works on air conditioners, furnaces, water heaters, refrigerators, stoves, levelers, steps, plumbing, electrical systems, generators and slide-outs, plus minor interior and exterior modifications. It also handles spring dewinterization and safety inspections, winterization, new owner orientation, RV power washing and carpet cleaning, and pre-sale consultation for an owner looking to list a rig. It does not do roof replacements, black tank work, residential refrigerators, engines, tires, axles, drivetrains or most pop-up campers. Its service area covers Central Iowa, including Des Moines, Adel, Altoona, Ankeny, Bondurant, Indianola, Knoxville, Newton, Pella, Pleasant Hill, West Des Moines, Urbandale and Waukee.

A standard service call runs $299, which it says includes "1st hour labor, trip charge & shop supplies," with additional labor billed at $150 an hour. Standard hours are Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, with evenings, weekends and after hours available depending on technician availability, though after-hours rates may apply. Same day service is not guaranteed, so calls are typically scheduled ahead. It also offers a discount for active and retired armed forces veterans.

Google rates it 4.9 stars from 167 reviews.

This is a good fit for an owner in the Des Moines area who wants repairs done at the campsite or driveway without a shop wait, or anyone prepping a rig for spring, winter storage or a private sale.
