Collision Solutions is a collision repair shop based in Des Moines, Iowa, on E Aurora Ave just off I-80. You bring the RV to the shop, though if the coach is still drivable, they will come and drive it back themselves, and if it needs towing, they arrange that for you.

They work on motorhomes, travel coaches, fifth wheels and specialty recreational vehicles, with sidewall rebuilds, rear cap replacement, fiberglass and composite repair, aluminum panels, paint and color matching, and decals and graphics. Their paint booth runs 60 feet long, long enough to fit a full-length coach for refinishing, and they use Axalta Imron coatings for the finish. Pickup and drop-off covers Des Moines, Ankeny, Altoona, Boone and Newton, and they have collected damaged vehicles from as far as Ames.

No trip fee, hourly rate or diagnostic fee is published, so ask about cost when you call. They bill your insurer direct, which matters on an RV claim since extra damage is routinely found once a sidewall comes off, and sorting that out with the adjuster yourself is its own headache. Every repair carries a lifetime warranty for as long as you own the coach. Owner Shaun Clinger has more than 30 years in collision repair, including time as an insurance adjuster, which is part of why they handle the claim paperwork themselves. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8am to 4:30pm.

Google rates it 5 stars from 30 reviews.

This is a good fit for an owner whose RV has been in a collision or has sidewall, panel or paint damage to repair, especially if an insurance claim is involved.
