Ed's Auto Detail

Ed's Auto Detail is a detailing shop based in Terre Haute, Indiana, at 2220 Wabash Avenue. You bring the RV to the shop. The listing does not say it comes to campgrounds, storage lots or driveways, so ask about that before you plan around it. Its service area is described as "Servicing the terre Haute area."

Ed's does detailing, not repair. Its work is exterior detailing, interior detailing, paint correction, ceramic coating and engine detailing, with headlight restoration among its additional services. It says it "proudly service[s]" RVs along with motorcycles and boats, but the listing names no RV types and no RV-specific services. For an RV owner, that means cleaning, polishing, a protective coating on the paint, and interior work. It will not diagnose a refrigerator, an air conditioner or a slide-out. A coating matters on a rig because the paint takes the most sun during the summer trips.

Ed's does not publish any prices, RV or otherwise, and it does not publish a trip fee, so ask for a price on your RV before you bring it in. Its hours are Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm, and Saturday, 9am to 2pm, and it is closed Sunday. The listing does not mention after-hours or emergency service.

The listing gives no certifications, no license or insurance statement, and no warranty. Its about page says the business has "years of experience," and it calls itself "a professional, full service Auto Detailing shop." Google rates it 4.4 stars from 82 reviews.

This is a good fit for an RV owner in the Terre Haute area who wants a rig washed, polished or coated and can drop it off at the shop during weekday or Saturday hours. It is not a fit for a traveler with a system that has quit.
