Tactical Detail

Tactical Detail is a veteran-owned mobile detailing service based in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. It comes to you, at home or at work, and says it will come to anywhere within one hour of CDA. Farther out, it makes trips "upon occasion" if you send your address first.

Its main work is car detailing. It also offers "small recreational vehicle" detailing, including golf carts, motorcycles, side-by-sides, dirt bikes and ATVs. It does not name motorhomes, travel trailers or fifth wheels, so an RV owner should not assume it will take a rig.

Published prices start at $320 for the Alpha Full Detail, $240 for the Bravo Interior Detail, $160 for the Charlie Exterior Detail and $40 for a golf cart. Heavy mud, pet hair, sap or deep scratches bring "an additional charge of $80/hour." It does not publish a trip fee or hourly rate, so when you call, ask about the trip fee, whether it works on RVs, and whether it can come to where your rig is parked. Hours are Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.

It brings its own generator and 65-gallon water tank, so you do not need to supply power or water. Founded in 2020, it names Harold as its detailer, who works "with meticulous care." It does not publish a warranty or guarantee, and it does not say whether it is licensed or insured, which matters when someone works around your rig.
