Kootenai Truck Repair

Kootenai Truck Repair is a truck and diesel repair shop based in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. It lists residential RV service among its offerings alongside diesel and general truck repair, so ask when you call whether it comes to your site or you bring the RV to its shop on N Ramsey Rd.

Beyond RVs, the shop works on work trucks and commercial fleets, and its list of services includes DOT inspections, mobile repair service, boat trailer service, small equipment repair and hydraulic repair. Its own description of the RV work says it has "the experience and equipment to get the job done right," whether it's a single RV or a full fleet.

No trip fee, hourly rate or RV job prices are published, so ask about cost and what a visit includes when you call. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 to 4:30, with Saturday by appointment only.

The business has been running since 2000, started in Coeur d'Alene by a fleet manager, and is now run as a two generation family operation with Roger and Lisa's sons working in it day to day. It says it backs its repairs with "guaranteed service," which matters if something goes wrong after you leave the lot. Google rates it 4.6 stars from 93 reviews.

This is a good fit for an owner in the Coeur d'Alene area who wants a shop with a long track record on trucks and diesel work and is willing to call ahead and ask the specifics for an RV job, rather than one who needs a mobile tech already confirmed to meet them at a campground.
