Smith's Mobile Detailing

Smith's Mobile Detailing is a mobile detailing business based in Savannah, Georgia. It comes to you, at the campground, storage lot or driveway, and serves Savannah and nearby areas.

It washes, waxes, ceramic seals and cleans the roof on RVs, along with awning cleaning. One review describes the owner detailing campers on site at a campground and then washing and waxing a Class A and utility trailer for the reviewer, which is the kind of job this business is built around: it comes to where the rig already is instead of asking you to haul it somewhere.

Pricing runs by the foot rather than a flat job price. RV detailing is listed at $5 a foot and takes about 1.5 hours, wash and wax runs $10 a foot over about 3 hours, ceramic sealant is $15 a foot over about 3 hours, roof cleaning is $50 a foot in about 30 minutes, and roof treatment and sealant is $100 a foot in about an hour. Awning cleaning runs $30 to $50 depending on size. Knowing the per-foot rate means you can get a rough number before the call just by knowing your rig's length. No trip fee or hours are published, so ask about both when you call.

The business just opened in Savannah this year. Nathaniel, who runs it, says he has worked in auto detailing for years before starting it. It also details boats and commercial trucks, in its own words, "Specialized in RV's, Boats, & Commercial Trucks."

This is a good fit for an RV owner in or passing through the Savannah area who wants the rig washed, waxed or roof-treated where it sits, without driving it anywhere.
