Making Memories RV Inspection & Services

Making Memories RV Inspection & Services is a mobile RV inspection and technician business based in Titusville, Florida, run by Zack and Kelly Bradley. It comes to you. It describes itself as "a mobile service, so we are located where we park the Big Bus," which means it works from wherever its rig is parked. It serves travel trailers, fifth wheels, motorhomes and toy haulers, and it does not sell RVs. It prefers a 50 to 100 mile service area, though "special arrangements can be agreed upon."

On the inspection side, it offers pre-purchase, warranty expiration, seller and life safety inspections. A life safety inspection takes about 2 hours and ends in a pass or fail report. The technician side covers air conditioners, refrigerators, water heaters, furnaces, slide-out rooms, leveling systems, awnings and slide toppers, hydronic heating, 12V and 120V electrical work, and gas regulators. Winterization needs power and a waste dump connection at your site and takes about 1 to 2 hours. Tank cleaning uses a 1800 PSI pressure washer and needs full hookups at an RV park, since it uses between 100 and 200 gallons of water. Confirm your campsite before you book either one.

The one rate it lists is for a walk-thru: "This is based on a 3 hour walk-thru, any additional time will be billed at $175.00 per hour." It also offers a "Cash Discount of 5%." It names no trip fee and no repair hourly rate, and it gives no per-job prices for most services, so ask about the trip fee when you call. Hours are by appointment Monday through Thursday, with Friday and Saturday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. It is closed Sunday and on major holidays. It names no after-hours or emergency service.

The owners have RVed together for over 30 years. The bio cites 38 years as a firefighter and 25 years in electronics and low voltage work. The business has been operating since 1994. It links to NRVTA Training, and its page title reads "Nationwide Certified RV Inspector," but it names no certifying body, so ask which credential the inspection carries. Ask whether it is licensed and insured, and whether its work carries a warranty. A pre-purchase inspection on a used rig is worth having because it turns up problems while you can still walk away.

This is a good fit for an owner who wants a written inspection before buying a travel trailer, fifth wheel, motorhome or toy hauler, or a traveler with a slide-out or refrigerator problem who can wait for an appointment and will settle the trip fee before booking.
