American Paint & Body

American Paint & Body is an auto body and collision repair shop based in Titusville, FL, at 2210 Garden St. It also does RV repair and paint work, which it calls a specialty. You bring the RV to its shop. It does not state a service area or say it will come to your site, so ask how far it will take a rig.

It lists RV repairs and paint work, collision repair, delamination, wood rot, fiberglass repair, electrolysis and glass replacement. It says "We specialize in RV repairs and paint work." Delamination, wood rot and fiberglass damage often show up in an RV's walls, roof and floor. Its 3600 sq. ft. facility has electrical hookups that "allow you to spend the night in your RV while repairs are made," so on a multi-day job you can sleep in your own rig instead of paying for a motel.

No RV prices, hourly rate or trip fee are published, so ask for a number before you drop off. The shop offers "Free Estimates" and accepts "All insurance estimates accepted," which matters if an insurer is involved after a crash. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and it is closed Saturday and Sunday. It says "Walk-ins Welcome."

It offers "warranty work" and a "life time warranty on repairs and refinishing." A lifetime warranty is only as useful as its terms, so ask what it covers before the work starts. No certifications, years in business or named technician are stated, so ask who will work on your rig.

This is a good fit for an RV owner near Titusville who can leave the rig at the shop during weekday hours, or for a traveler who needs body or paint work and wants to sleep in the rig while it is done.
