J&J's 143 RV Mobile Repair & Services

J&J's 143 RV Mobile Repair & Services is a mobile RV tech based in Marathon, Florida, and it comes to you. It serves Marathon and the surrounding Keys, from Fiesta Key to Key West. Jason and Jennevieve Acosta run it, and they opened in December 2022 after four years of fulltime RV life.

It works on A/C units, refrigerators, water heaters, furnaces and batteries, and it lists exteriors among its services. Its A/C cleaning covers the filters and coils, and it advises that an A/C "should be serviced once a year min." It also offers an AC/Furnace/Fridge service package.

There is a one time trip fee of $125, and a return visit to install ordered parts carries no trip fee. The diagnostic fee is $143 with a one hour minimum, and A/C cleaning is $125 per unit. Emergency calls during closed hours and holidays cost an additional fee. Hours are Tuesday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, and Saturday, 8 am to noon. It does not publish an hourly labor rate or the size of that emergency fee, so ask both when you call.

The business lists a Refrigerator Certification, and Jason came to RV work from years as a mechanic, a welder and a park district maintenance director. After the shops they called were booked out 6 weeks, the couple set their goal to "prioritize emergency calls and get you back on the road." Google rates it 5 stars from 81 reviews.

This is a good fit for an owner in Marathon or elsewhere in the Keys who wants a mobile RV tech to come to the rig for A/C, fridge, water heater or battery work, or for a traveler stuck in the Keys with one of those problems.
