Happy campers RV SERVICE & REPAIR

Happy Campers RV Service & Repair is a mobile RV tech based in Marathon, Florida. It comes to you, and its site puts it this way: "Let us bring our mobile units to you while you continue to enjoy your vacation." It names its service area as "Serving Key Largo all the way down to Key West and everywhere in between."

It works on AC/DC electrical, LP gas, plumbing, generators, water heaters, waste and fresh water systems, appliances, awnings, leveling systems, slide-outs and slide-out toppers, air conditioning, heating and roof repair. Its maintenance list includes spring start-up and winterizing, pre-purchase and post-purchase inspections, and brakes and bearings. Having the work done where the rig sits matters more than it sounds. A slide-out that will not come in often means the rig cannot be moved safely, so a tech who comes to you saves a tow. A pre-purchase inspection is the time to find problems on a used rig before the sale closes.

The business does not name RV types or brands, so ask whether it works on your make and model before you book. It also publishes no rate, trip fee or hours. When you call, ask about the trip fee and the hourly rate first.

It has been serving the RV industry for 30 years, and it describes itself as "Certified RV Roof Experts." It is "Licensed and insured," and it states, "We work with most warranty and extended warranty companies." Google rates it 4.1 stars from 108 reviews.

This is a good fit for an owner in the Keys who wants a tech to come to the driveway or storage lot for winterizing, roof repair or a pre-purchase check, or for a traveler stuck with a slide-out or AC problem who wants to ask about the trip fee before anyone arrives.
