Final Details

Final Details is an RV ceramic coating and roof resealing shop based in Ventura, California. Ceramic coating and roof resealing are done at the shop only, so you bring the RV, motorhome or trailer in for those jobs. Its mobile detailing and fleet washing services do come to you, at home or wherever your vehicle sits.

The shop works on RV and motorhome roofs, including seams, skylights, air conditioning mounts, vents and trim, and applies ceramic coating to RVs, Airstreams, trailers, boats, motorcycles and cars. It offers ceramic coating in 3-year, 5-year and 7-year protection packages. A roof coating covers the whole roof surface rather than just the seams, which is worth knowing because resealing alone is a good fix for a small leak near a vent but will not stop water from finding a new weak spot a season later. "Proudly serving Ventura, Santa Barbara, and Los Angeles counties since 1987."

Final Details does not publish prices or an hourly rate for roof or coating work online, so ask for a quote on your rig when you call. It also does not list a trip fee or set hours, so ask about both, along with whether a mobile detailing visit can be scheduled around your travel dates.

The company has been doing this work since 1987, which is long enough to have handled plenty of fiberglass and aluminum roofs through a Southern California summer. Reviewers mention a crew of five or six working together on a job rather than a single tech.

This is a good fit for an RV owner in Ventura, Santa Barbara or Los Angeles county who wants a roof resealed or a coating applied before a long storage season, and is willing to bring the rig to the shop to get it done.
