Automotive Excellence

Automotive Excellence is a family-owned, full-service automotive shop based in Placerville, California, at 4600 Missouri Flat Rd #14. It does not state on its site whether it comes to your location, so ask when you call whether it can meet you at your site or if you need to bring the RV in.

Alongside car and truck work, it lists RV services and RV repairs among its offerings, including brake repair, starting, charging and battery work, A/C repairs, cooling system repairs, and steering and suspension. It also handles preventive maintenance, smog inspection and a long list of standard automotive systems, so it is set up to treat an RV much like any other vehicle that rolls through the bay. It serves Placerville and names Diamond Springs and El Dorado as surrounding communities it covers.

No trip fee, hourly rate or diagnostic fee amount is published, so ask about those when you call. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm.

It is a NAPA AutoCare Center, which backs qualifying repairs with a 36 month, 36,000 mile warranty honored at other NAPA AutoCare locations nationwide, useful if a repair problem turns up again once you are back on the road. It has been in business over 26 years. Google rates it 4.7 stars from 206 reviews.

This is a good fit for an owner near Placerville who wants one shop willing to handle both the tow vehicle and the RV, and who wants a nationally backed warranty behind the repair.
