Nick's Mobile Detailing

Nick's Mobile Detailing is a mobile detailing business based in Chico, California. It comes to you, and it offers mobile detailing services to "Chico California and the surrounding areas." Its home page names towns from Paradise and Magalia down to Durham, Orland and Corning, and its contact page adds Oroville, Vina and Willows.

Its RV work is washing, waxing and roof cleaning, and no repair work is listed. Its RV page promises "From routine washes to more advanced RV detailing services, we offer options for every level of care." The Basic Wash is $10 a Linear Foot, and Wash & Protect is $12 a Linear Foot, using a wet wax with a typical durability of "2-3 months." Roof Scrubbing is a $50 add on, and Roof Clean & Protect is a $75 add on. The third wash tier hand applies a ceramic spray wax, which the manufacturer claims lasts "6-9 months," and it has no price listed. No RV types or brands are named.

It publishes no trip fee and no hourly rate, so ask about the trip fee when you call (530)-433-4230. Hours are Monday through Saturday, 8am to 4pm, and it is closed Sundays. The contact form says it will "call you within 2 hours," but the form is answered Monday through Friday, 8am to 4pm.

It also sells a "10 year ceramic coating" with a "Lifetime Warranty" as long as it is serviced annually. That page is written for vehicles in general, so ask whether it applies to an RV. It says "We are certified installers" but names no certifying program, and it states no license or insurance. Ask which certification it holds and whether it carries insurance before you book, because a coating is only as good as its prep and application. Google rates it 4.9 stars from 285 reviews, under car detailing service.

This is a good fit for an RV owner near Chico who wants a wash, wax or roof cleaning at a set price per foot and will ask about the trip fee first. If the RV needs repairs, look elsewhere, since none are listed.
