Resilient Detail and Shine

Resilient Detail and Shine is a detailing and restoration shop based in Powell, Wyoming, at 415 Alan Rd. You bring the rig to the shop. The listing also says "Concierge pickup & drop-off available," so ask what that covers and whether it costs extra.

Most of the work is on cars, trucks, vans, boats and planes, including paint correction, ceramic coating, paint protection film, vinyl wrap and window tint. RV work is one line, "Boat & RV Detailing," described as "Oxidation removal, gelcoat polishing, and marine ceramic coatings." No RV types are named and no mechanical work is listed, so for a broken fridge, air conditioner or slide-out, call someone else.

No prices are published for any job. The booking page says the shop will "quote the right package" once you describe the vehicle and your goal, so get that quote before you drive over. No trip fee or service area is stated. Hours are Monday through Friday 9 AM to 5 PM, Saturday 12 PM to 5 PM and Sunday 12 PM to 3 PM. No after-hours service is stated.

The shop offers "Premium coatings with up to lifetime warranty" and says "Six years of doing it right." A warranty is only as useful as its terms, so ask what it covers. No licensing, certification or insurance statement appears. Google rates it 4.9 stars from 58 reviews, in the category car detailing service.

This is a good fit for an RV owner who wants a boat-and-RV detail, paint correction or ceramic coating done at a shop, and who can get the rig to Powell. It is not a fit for a traveler with a mechanical breakdown at a campground.
