BIG SKY

Big Sky is an RV service and repair facility based in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Mobile service is no longer offered, so you bring the RV to its shop at 8610 Trucker Trail, Suite B, rather than waiting for someone to come to you.

It works on air conditioning and heating systems, refrigerators, freezers and ice makers, water heaters and plumbing including faucets, sinks, showers, toilets and pipes, and electrical systems such as lights, outlets, switches, batteries, inverters, generators and solar panels. It also handles slide outs and leveling systems, and preventative or seasonal work like winterization, de-winterization, roof inspections and appliance checks, on motorhomes, trailers, fifth wheels and campers.

The hourly rate is $185, with variable rates available depending on the job, and a minimum of one hour billed, then billed in 30 minute increments after that. There is no published trip fee or diagnostic fee, so ask about those when you call. Big Sky offers a discount for military and first responders. Office hours run Monday 12pm to 5pm, Tuesday through Friday 9am to 5pm, and Saturday 9am to noon, with phone hours Monday through Friday 9am to 5pm.

Big Sky says its goal is "to get your RV into the shop quickly and complete an initial diagnosis within approximately 48 hours, whenever possible," which matters if you are used to a six-week wait at a dealer. Google rates it 4.9 stars from 67 reviews.
