Mr Fixit RV

Mr Fixit RV is an RV repair shop based at 27535 117th Street in New Auburn, Wisconsin. It also buys and sells used RVs, rents units and runs a parts department. You can bring your RV to the shop, and the business also offers "Mobile Service," so it may come to you. It does not say whether it comes to a campsite or driveway, or how far it will travel, so ask that first when you call.

The business lists "Interior/Exterior RV Repair" and names roofs, slides, and back and front walls as its main work. It also offers complete rebuilds, restorations, and conversions of cargo and horse trailers. Its photos show a roof replacement and repair of water damage to the rear and the overhead. Air conditioners, refrigerators, and generators are not named, so ask before you bring one in.

No trip fee, hourly rate, diagnostic fee, per-job price, or after-hours or emergency service is published. Ask about the trip fee and the labor rate before anyone comes out. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8AM to 5:30PM, and Saturday, 9AM to 1 PM. The business describes itself as "Family Owned and Operated for Over 44 Years," but it does not name an owner or technician, and it lists no certifications, licensing, or warranty. For a job this size, ask who will do the work and whether any warranty is in writing.

Google rates it 4.3 stars from 50 reviews, and its category is RV repair shop.

This is a good fit for an owner who has a roof, slide, or wall that needs major repair and wants the price settled before the work starts. It also suits a traveler whose rig needs one of those repairs and who can get to the shop during weekday hours.
