McClure's Service, Inc

McClure's Service, Inc is an auto and truck repair shop based in Howard, Wisconsin. You bring the RV to them rather than the other way around.

They work on RVs and motor homes alongside their regular car and truck repair business, and the shop lists RVs as one of its own service pages, right next to auto repair, truck repair, brakes, steering and suspension, and electrical. The truck side covers air brakes, clutch, transmission and differential work, engine rebuilding, heating and cooling, radiators, steering and suspension, and wheel bearings, the kind of chassis and drivetrain work a motorhome shares with a commercial truck.

There is no published RV-specific price list, so ask about the trip fee and what a visit costs when you call, though the shop does offer free estimates on mechanical repairs and says most estimates can be provided the same day. After-hours appointments are available upon request. All work carries a one-year labor warranty, and as a NAPA Truck Service Center, the shop is covered by NAPA's network warranty, meaning if you are more than 50 miles away when something fails again, you can get it fixed at another NAPA station instead of driving back. The shop has been in business since 1979, and Bill has been with them since 1987, which is a long run of hands on the same cars and trucks in one town.

Google rates the shop 4.7 stars from 22 reviews.

This is a good fit for an RV owner near Howard who wants a shop that already knows their truck or chassis and can fold RV work into that same relationship, especially one who values a warranty that travels with them.
