GnJ Mobile RV Service

GnJ Mobile RV Service is a mobile RV tech based in Chetek, Wisconsin. It comes to you, wherever the RV sits, rather than asking you to bring it into a shop.

It works on air conditioning, furnaces, refrigerators, water heaters, awnings, roofs, slide-outs, leveling systems, plumbing and electrical systems. It also handles winterizing, spring opening, preventative maintenance on AC, furnace and water heater, and new and used RV inspections, which matter if you are buying a used rig and want someone to check it over before you sign.

Trip fees are published by distance rather than a flat number: $25 for trips up to 10 miles, $50 up to 25 miles, and $75 up to 40 miles. That gives you a real number to plan around before a tech is on the way, instead of waiting for a bill to find out what the drive cost. No hourly rate or diagnostic fee is published, so ask for that figure when you call, along with hours, since none are listed.

The business describes its staff as "certified technicians and inspectors who specialize in repairing various RV systems, including air conditioning, plumbing, and electrical systems." No specific certifying body, warranty or insurance statement is listed, so ask about those directly if they matter to you.

This is a good fit for an owner in or around Chetek who wants appliance, plumbing or electrical work done without hauling the RV anywhere, or a buyer who wants an inspection done on-site before closing on a used rig.
