Platinum Mobile Detailing

Platinum Mobile Detailing is a mobile detailing company based in Martinsburg, West Virginia. It comes to you, to your home, workplace or business, so an RV owner does not bring the rig to a shop. It covers Martinsburg, Winchester and Hagerstown, Maryland, and the surrounding area, and it says "Depending on the distance, mobile service may still be available" for owners beyond those towns.

Most of the site is written for cars, trucks and SUVs. For RVs it lists motorhomes, campers and fifth wheels, and the work it describes is exterior cleaning, polishing, waxing and oxidation correction. It notes that RVs "require considerably more time and attention than a typical passenger vehicle." Interior RV work is not described.

RV work is quoted on request. No trip fee, hourly rate or hours are published, so ask about the trip fee when you call 304.839.8480. Google rates it 4.8 stars from 38 reviews, and one reviewer wrote, "Best part is that he comes to you."

For a rig, mobile service means the work happens where it is parked, with no drive to a shop and back. The business calls itself "family owned and operated." The site states no licensing, insurance, warranty or years in business, so ask about those before booking.

This is a good fit for an RV owner around Martinsburg, Winchester or Hagerstown who wants exterior work done at home and will get a quote first. It is not a fit for a traveler who needs mechanical work, since the site lists none.
