Vagabond'Z RV Tech, LLC

Vagabond'Z RV Tech, LLC is a mobile RV tech currently based out of Washington state parks rather than a fixed shop. James and Amy Zimmer travel full time themselves, so they come to you, wherever your rig sits, and say "we will come to you and help with your RV repair or general maintenance." As of this writing they are posted at Lake Chelan State Park in Chelan, WA until June 29, 2025, then moving to Fort Flagler State Park from July 1 to August 30, 2025, so call ahead to see how close their current location is to yours.

They work on slide outs, furnaces, water heaters, refrigerators, holding tanks, air conditioners and generators, and handle winterizing and dewinterizing, on campers, travel trailers, fifth wheels and motorhomes. One specialty worth knowing about: black and gray tank cleaning with a hydro-jet system they describe as chemical-free. For that job your unit needs to be hooked to water, electric and sewer, since the system flushes and cleans through those connections.

No trip fee or hourly rate is posted, so ask about both when you call, along with whether they can reach your site given their travel schedule.

James trained at the National RV Training Academy, six weeks of schooling that made him an advanced certified RV technician and a certificated generator repairman, with added coursework in tank cleaning. That kind of specific training matters for a generator that will not start or a tank that will not stop smelling, jobs a dealer appointment often means weeks of waiting for. The business is veteran owned and operated. Google shows 5 stars from 3 reviews.

This is a good fit for an owner near their current park location who wants a technician trained specifically in generator repair or tank cleaning, and who does not mind coordinating around a travel schedule instead of a fixed service area.
