Basin RV Sales & Service

Basin RV Sales & Service is a small, family-owned RV dealership based in Moses Lake, Washington. It sells used RVs and campers and also does repair work. It comes to you at a campsite, your home or on the road, and you can also bring the RV to its shop at 3481 Lasco Lane NE.

Its service work covers general maintenance, engine and chassis repairs for gas and diesel RVs, electrical and plumbing, roof and exterior work, HVAC and appliance service, slide-outs, awnings and leveling, and custom upgrades, on motorhomes, travel trailers and fifth wheels. A slide-out that will not come in can be hard to move safely, so a tech who comes to the campsite can save you a tow. Basin does not name a service area or mileage limit, so ask how far it will drive.

Basin does not publish a trip fee, an hourly rate or prices for its service work, so ask about the trip fee first when you call. Its mobile service promises "Quality service at competitive prices," which is a claim, not a number. Hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with weekends closed. No after-hours or emergency hours are stated, though it lists "emergency repairs" among its work.

Basin says its technicians are "Skilled in handling all RV makes and models," but it does not name the certification or the techs. Ask which certification the tech holds and who issued it. It does not state a warranty, so ask about that too. Its shop is described as "Fully equipped for major and minor repairs." Google rates it 4.8 stars from 70 reviews, under the category Repair service.

This is a good fit for an RV owner in Moses Lake who wants a dealer's shop for repairs on a motorhome, travel trailer or fifth wheel, or for a traveler whose slide-out or A/C has failed and who will confirm the trip fee and service area before anyone heads out.
