Ellensburg Brake & Bearing

Ellensburg Brake & Bearing is a tire and auto repair shop based in Ellensburg, WA, at 802 N Columbia St. It calls itself "Ellensburg's only genuine, locally-owned tire and auto repair shop specializing in brakes, bearings, and small engine repairs." You bring the RV to the shop.

Its trailer work is what matters to an RV owner. It says it services "boat trailers, horse trailers, RV trailers, ATV and UTV trailers, car trailers, and dump trailers." Its trailer services are bearing repacking and replacement, brake repair, springs and axle replacement, and trailer light wiring. RV trailers are the only RV type it names. It names no motorhomes and no house systems such as air conditioners, refrigerators, slide-outs or generators. It serves Ellensburg, WA, Cle Elum-Roslyn, WA, Kittitas, WA, and surrounding areas.

It publishes no trip fee and no hourly rate, so ask for a price on the job when you call, and ask whether any trip fee applies. For a trailer repair estimate, it says to "call to talk with a member of our team." It is open Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and it names no weekend or after-hours service.

It names no certifications and no warranty. Bearings and brakes matter most on a trailer that has sat in storage, and a shop that does that work can tell you what is worn before you tow. Google rates it 4.7 stars from 95 reviews, under the category Auto repair shop.

This is a good fit for an owner in or near Ellensburg with an RV trailer, a boat, horse or ATV trailer, who needs bearings, brakes, springs, axles or lights checked during weekday hours. It is not the fit for a motorhome or for work on an RV's house systems, since none are named.
