RVinspectUSA

RVinspectUSA is a mobile RV inspection service based in Hampton Roads, Virginia. It comes to you, whether that is a dealership lot or a private seller's site, and it names Ashland, Chesapeake, Portsmouth and Virginia Beach among the areas it covers, along with Western Virginia and Northeast North Carolina.

It inspects pre-purchase RVs of all classes, from Diesel Pushers to Travel Trailers, covering the roof, chassis, engine, electrical, plumbing, interior features and safety systems. Each inspection includes 75 to 100 high-resolution photos, so you get documentation of what was found, not just a verbal report. This matters most before you sign: a problem caught before the purchase agreement is a negotiating point, while the same problem found after closing is just a repair bill.

No pricing or hours are published, so ask about the trip fee and scheduling when you call. The business does offer a free phone consultation before you buy, which is worth using even if you decide not to book the full inspection.

The inspector, Russ Tjepkema, is an NRVIA Certified Advanced Inspector, an RVTAA Registered Technician and a Master Inspector through RV Inspector Pro. He is a 30-year Navy veteran and the business is family-owned, with inspection discounts for service members, veterans and first responders. Google rates it 5 stars from 57 reviews.

This is a good fit for a buyer about to close on a new or used RV, at a dealership or a private sale, who wants an independent set of eyes on the rig before any money changes hands.
