Johnson RV Mobile Service and Repair

Johnson RV Mobile Service and Repair is an RV repair shop based in the Norfolk, VA and Hampton Roads area, serving Chesapeake and the surrounding region since 1974. It works both ways: it comes to you, or you can bring your camper or RV to its shop, so ask when you call which makes sense for your repair.

It handles wiring repair and upgrades, appliance repair, and plastic tank welding on black, gray and fresh water tanks, along with parts and accessories and graphics work. It says it can "repair all makes and models, no matter how major or minor the problem," which matters if you are towing an older rig that a dealer might turn away.

No trip fee or hourly rate is published, so ask about that when you call, along with whether it comes to your driveway or storage lot or whether you need to bring the RV in. It offers a free estimate before any work starts. Parts and labor are guaranteed for 90 days, so a repair that fails again soon after should not cost you twice. The shop is licensed and insured, and its hours run Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, closed weekends.

Google rates it 4.6 stars from 52 reviews.

This is a good fit for an owner in the Norfolk or Hampton Roads area with a wiring problem, a leaking tank, or a broken appliance who wants a shop that has been doing this work since 1974 and backs its repairs with a 90 day guarantee.
