Backroads RV Repair

Backroads RV Repair is a mobile RV repair business based in Weber County, Utah, serving the Roy and Ogden area. It comes to you, at your driveway, storage lot or campsite, and says it services "up to 30 miles around Ogden." The business runs strictly mobile and asks that you call ahead to schedule, since it does not keep a walk-in shop.

It works on yearly safety and functionality inspections, roof repairs, recoating and replacements, appliance servicing, water systems, awning fabric and hardware, battery upgrades and installations, jack repairs and replacements, and inverter and solar system installations. That range covers both the routine upkeep a traveler puts off and the bigger jobs, like a roof replacement or a solar upgrade, that usually mean a long wait at a dealer.

No hourly rate, trip fee or diagnostic fee is published, so ask about all three when you call. The process runs in two visits: the first is a scheduled diagnosis where the tech either fixes the issue on the spot or sends you an estimate, and once you accept it they schedule a return trip with the parts in hand. Hours run Monday through Friday, 8am to 3pm, closed weekends, and an appointment is required.

Backroads RV Repair has been running since 2020, formerly as American RV Mobile Services. It is family owned and operated. Google rates it 4.9 stars from 63 reviews.

This is a good fit for an owner in the Ogden to Roy corridor who would rather have a tech look at the rig where it sits than haul it to a shop, especially for a roof job, a solar install or a yearly inspection scheduled well ahead of a trip.
