1776 RV Repair

1776 RV Repair is a repair shop based in Wolfforth, Texas. It works on RVs both ways: you can bring your travel trailer to its shop, or its mobile service can come to you. It does not publish a set radius, so ask when you call how far out the mobile service reaches.

The shop works on awning springs and hardware, AC installations, slide-out awnings, full awning replacements and refrigerators, mainly on travel trailers. It does not schedule mobile jobs by fixed appointment time. Instead it gives "a target day and a target ETA," since weather, parts delays and jobs running long can shift the whole day's schedule.

Mobile trip fees are set by round trip mileage: $50 for 0 to 15 miles, $100 for 16 to 40 miles, $150 for 41 to 80 miles and $175 for 80 to 100 miles, calculated by Google Maps. The first trip carries a minimum of one hour of labor, billed separately from the trip fee. A return trip to finish a job is reduced 25 percent, with actual labor added. No hourly labor rate is published beyond that, so ask for it on the call. It has no published emergency or after-hours service; regular hours run Monday through Friday 8 to 5 and Saturday 8 to noon, closed Sunday.

The shop names certified technicians on staff and handles warranty paperwork directly, processing claims for extended warranty, appliance warranty and insurance work, which can save you from chasing that paperwork yourself. Google rates it 4.7 stars from 57 reviews.

This is a good fit for a travel trailer owner near Wolfforth who wants a known trip fee before a technician shows up, or one who would rather drop the rig at a shop than wait on a dealer's backlog.
