Texas RV Worx

Texas RV Worx is an RV repair shop based in White Oak, Texas, and it works both ways. You can bring your rig to its shop at 2306 E. Hwy. 80, and it also offers "full-service mobile service for all RVs" at home or on the road. It names "East Texas and surrounding areas" as where it works but does not state how far its mobile crew will drive, so ask whether it will come to your driveway or campground and what area it covers.

The shop lists electrical system repair, suspension service, battery maintenance and replacement, air conditioning service, brake system maintenance, roof repair and maintenance, and slide-out repair. It also runs a collision shop and a parts center. It names motorhomes as its RV type and names no others, so ask about travel trailers and fifth wheels before you book. A slide-out that will not move often means the rig cannot be driven safely, so a team that comes to the campground can save you a tow.

No trip fee, hourly rate, diagnostic fee, hours, warranty or payment terms are published. Ask for the trip fee and the labor rate when you call. The work starts with "a thorough examination to diagnose the issue," so ask what that examination costs before any work begins.

Its services pages use the phrase "certified experts," but no certification, named technician, license or insurance is given. Ask which certifications the people working on your rig hold, and whether the shop is licensed and insured. A named certification shows what training stands behind the work, and insurance covers the damage if something goes wrong on the lot.

Google rates it 4.7 stars from 78 reviews as an RV repair shop. It has been at this "for years," but gives no start date. This is a good fit for an East Texas RV owner who wants roof, slide-out or AC work done at a shop, or a traveler who can get a motorhome to White Oak and gets the trip fee in writing first.
