RV Service of Texas

RV Service of Texas is a mobile RV tech working on-site across the Texas Hill Country. They come to you rather than the other way around, which matters when something like a slide-out or a structural issue makes the rig hard or unsafe to move.

They work on A/C, roofs, plumbing, electrical systems, LP gas systems, jacks and levelers, awnings, slide-outs and refrigeration. They also handle structural repair and insurance estimates and repair, and do winterizing and dewinterizing. That is a wide spread of systems for one outfit to cover, so an owner with a multi-part problem, like an underbelly failure that also took out some wiring, does not need to call around to different specialists.

No trip fee, hourly rate or job pricing is published, so ask about the trip fee and get a number before any work starts. Hours run Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm.

Brian and Kare Reid started the business in 2010, and Brian brings 35 years in the RV industry. It is family run: Kare or their daughter Jena usually answers the phone, and son-in-law Jacob is the trained RV technician doing the hands-on work. That kind of continuity, the same few people handling your call and your repair, is worth something when you want a straight answer about what is actually wrong with your rig rather than a guess over the phone.

Google rates it 4.7 stars from 75 reviews.

This is a good fit for a traveler or owner in the Texas Hill Country who wants a tech to come to the campground or driveway and would rather get a full diagnosis of the problem than a quick parts swap.
